Japanese porcelain bowl and French gilt bronze ferrule. The hand-painted decoration of the bowl shows flowers painted in enamel as well as in underglaze cobalt and gilt. The fittings feature Louis XV style ornaments.

Porcelain: Imari - Arita, Japan, late 17th - early 18th century. Bronze: France, 19th century.

Height 22 cm, length 26 cm, width 18.5 cm.
