Two-tone piece, in brass and red copper with a height of 46 cm.
From the 19th century, this vase presents us with an epigraphic decoration on the entire body, as well as brass additions, twenty in total, set with red copper nails.
Three brass belts enhance the piece, one at the neck, the other in the first quarter of the top, the last at the base setting the bottom of the vase.
The object is in very good condition and of high quality of execution.
Four stars are inscribed at the base. ## The 5-pointed star is a strong symbol of the Muslim religion, it symbolizes the 5 pillars of Islam.
It is found on flags of North Africa such as the Moroccan flag or the Algerian flag.
The five-pointed star refers to the seal of Solomon.
The star is a symbol with multiple meanings.
To begin with, it symbolizes the mysteries of the universe, and represents the sky and the night.
It fights against darkness and illuminates the night, thus symbolizing truth, and the link between God and Men.
The quality and finesse of the carving is very rare for a piece from the Maghreb.
An ancient creation skillfully turned and decorated, which is not the most common in Morocco.
