"Antique Tortoiseshell Piquè Gold Earrings"
Piquè is the old ( and lost ! ) art of inlay small gold points on the tortoiseshell. This art started in Naples in the 18th century. We are now presenting an antique pair of beautiful tortoiseshell gold piquè earrings of the end of the 19th century with a bead as Top and Down a big drop full of gold piquè decorations inlaid in the tortoiseshell all around. They are a gorgeous elegant pair of earrings. Very light and easy to wear. 14K gold ( touchstone tested ). End of the 19th century. From Naples. They are in perfect condition.- Size cm. 6
