A long spout with a studied shape ensures perfect tea service without unpleasantly spilling liquid in all directions outside the cup or bowl. You can even pour drop by drop. Beautiful casting of the metal and excellent finishing with a file and scraper. Beautiful old natural patina. Difficult to date precisely. Japan 19th century or before.
