Large pear-shaped vase in satin glass paste with floral decoration of pansies in shades of blue and black. Signed "Leune" in a cartouche. LEUNE glassworks (1861-1930) specialist in hot-fixed enamel (France). A beautiful decorative piece with its volume and delicate decorative style. In very good general condition, only one chip on the outside of the neck. The Leune establishments produce medicinal glassware, porcelain, cups and vases decorated with idyllic and romantic landscapes as well as birds and flowers. The glass objects are painted with hot-fixed enamel. Leune closed its doors after the 1929 crisis.
