"Bronze Medallion By Jamnitzer.nuremberg. Judgement Of Solomon."
The medallion is in bronze, probably sand cast, it represents the judgment of Solomon. Good casting and beautiful chiseling. There are several copies of varying quality, here we have a very beautiful copy. The former collector informs us by a label that it would be a work of Jamnitzer from the 16th century, however this model was taken up in the 17th century. The quality of this medallion would lead us to think that it is the work of Jamnitzer himself and not that of a follower. Diameter: 14cm. Original patina. Wear and tear. No restoration
