Hollow dish from the East India Company, oval in shape with a wide rim with a contoured border. Beautiful polychrome decoration: a large bouquet of flowers whose stems are joined by a tied ribbon. Flowers around the bouquet as well as on the rim. Double wolf tooth fillets. Beautiful gold highlights. Good condition with wear from use. This decoration called the "Famille Rose" appears under the reign of Emperor Yongzen (1723 - 1736) and develops under the reign of Emperor Quianlong (1736 - 1796)
