Puiforcat: Sterling Silver & Vermeil Ice Cream Service Renaissance Style, Mascarons

Extraordinary and rare Solid Silver and Vermeil ice cream service in the famed Puiforcat Renaissance style pattern. The service is comrpised of 12 spoons with bowls in Vermeil (Gold on Silver) embellished with chiseled decoration of scrolling foliage, and openwork stems ending at the spatulas with a depiction of a magnificent Mascaron, and a monogram on the reverse side. Mascarons are also featured as a reminder at the level of the spoon attachments. This service is presented in a box lined with anti-oxidant fabric.
Meticulously hand crafted from the highest quality silver, each piece is punched with the Minerva 1st Standard (.950) halllmark, and mark of reknowned Master Goldsmith Emile PUIFORCAT active in 1857. This extraordinary and rare Renaissance style ice cream service is in very good condition, revised and cleaned by our Goldsmith, with only micro-scratches from use to note.
