He was a student of Dardoize. He was a Sociétaire des Artistes Français from 1889. He appeared at the Nancy Salon from 1889 to 1913 with landscapes of Normandy, the Mediterranean coast, the surroundings of Meaux and Brittany. At the "Parisian Salon of the French School" he presented a landscape "The Bois de Crégy" Exhibition: Meaux, Bossuet Museum Léon Le Royer 1858-1939, paintings and drawings from the Museum's collection: exhibition from October 23 to November 22, 1976,
