This shaker is the work of the famous Swiss goldsmith Jezler, a house renowned for the quality of its silverwork since 1822. It comes directly from the estate of the Château d'Argenteuil, residence of King Leopold III and Princess Liliane, the contents of which were auctioned off in 2003 by the Vanderkindere auction house.
