These vases painted with canton enamels date from the 19th century, these colored enameled metal objects were intended as much for the domestic market as for export. Their rich and varied decoration is made up of the many symbols found on porcelain, dragons, peaches, peonies, lotus flowers, cherry trees and various birds. In excellent condition, one of the two vases however has, at the base at the foot, three small enamel defects probably occurring at the time of firing. 19th century. Height 30 cm.
