"Virtue Dagger Called "pique-couille" In Its Shagreen Sheath - 18th Century"
Virtue Dagger called "Pique-Couilles" in its shagreen sheath - 18th Century Wooden fuse. Virtue Daggers, despite their noble name, were mainly associated with women of the night. These daggers were often used by prostitutes as a means of defense against potentially violent or aggressive clients. They were designed to be easily concealed under clothing and to prick rather than cut, which earned them the less elegant nickname of "pique-couilles" Triangular blade, 15 cm long.
