18th Century Razor Knife - Silver Mounted Straight Razor

18th century razor – Tortoiseshell handles and silver ferrules

Superb 18th century razor, with two tortoiseshell handles and decorated with silver ferrules finely decorated with scrolls and plant motifs (see photos).
Its steel blade is stamped with the crowned letter "A", testifying to its authenticity and quality of manufacture.

Dimensions:

Length open: 28.4 cm – closed: 16.7 cm
Width open: 1.8 cm – closed: 2.6 cm

Condition: Some losses and tears on the silver ferrules as well as on the edges of the handles (see photos).

A beautiful collector's item, rare and refined, ideal for lovers of antique toilet accessories or enthusiasts of period craftsmanship.
