Spain 16th century or earlier: "Stone window", carved limestone 50 X 64 X 20 cm, weathered over the centuries. I indicate "window" in the title, but I admit to knowing nothing about its function: loophole, bull's eye, oculus or cistern top? The fact that it is hollowed out on both sides makes me think more of a loophole, but I will leave it to the specialists to decide. A clue: according to my seller, it comes from Castile...
