Set of four Louis XVI period walnut hot-air balloon back chairs from the 18th century, circa 1780. The chairs we are presenting are carved with a lyre on the back, which is finished with an acanthus leaf. They rest on four rudenté legs decorated with dice with connections decorated with crosslets. The seat is said to be drum-shaped. Original straps, upholstery in good condition (provide another fabric). Private collection. Dimensions: h.back: 92 cm x h. seat: 46 cm x d.42 cm x l.43 cm.
