"Japanese Lotus Leaf Dish - Japan"
Leaf-shaped dish (called "habon" in Japanese) of lotus and its flower with its heart and its seeds in carved wood. Original piece of excellent quality. The sculpture is very realistic with even holes like on real lotuses. Note the stem has been glued to its base. Japan, circa 1930, 29 x 20 x 8 cm.
