"Grognard / Triumphant Grenadier: Mandrassi Bronze."

Triumphant Grognard wearing the Legion of Honor by Lucas Madrassi (1848-1919). Bronze with dark patina and resting on a Siena marble base. Soldier* of the 1st Grenadier Regiment on Foot of the Imperial Guard of Napoleon I. Small restoration on the edge of the marble and on the bayonet. Very good condition. Bronze signed on the back "L. Madrassi" and foundry stamp "Vrai bronze garanti Paris".
