Josef Ullmann (13 June 1870 Nekmíř – 1922 Prague-Královské Vinohrady) was a Czech landscape painter, a student of Julius Mařák at the Academy of Painting in Prague. From 1900, Ullmann's paintings were regularly reproduced in Zlatá Praze and other journals. From 1902, his paintings began to appear regularly in exhibitions organized by Krasoumná jednota, Umělecká beseda and Jednota výtvarných umělců. In 1905 he was selected as one of the artists representing Czech fine arts at the 9th International Exhibition in Munich. In the spring of 1906 he exhibited a large collection of 15 paintings for the first time at the Annual Exhibition of the Krasoumná jednota. In 1908 he held a large group exhibition at the Topič Salon and then in Pardubice. Since 1900 Ullmann's paintings have been regularly reproduced in Zlatá Praže and other magazines. From 1902 his paintings began to appear regularly in exhibitions organized by the Krasoumná jednotá, the Umělecká besedá and the Jednotá výtvarných umělců. In 1905 he was selected as one of the artists representing Czech fine arts at the 9th International Exhibition in Munich. In the spring of 1906, he exhibited for the first time a large collection of 15 paintings at the annual exhibition of the Beautiful Unity. In 1908, he organized a large group exhibition at the Topič Salon, then in Pardubice. From 1905 to 1922, he was a member of the Mánes Association of Fine Arts, with which he exhibited regularly.
