Gerard Cox, 1864-1931, Dutch Painter. Born in Arcen, he was a student at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rotterdam. He established his studio in Eindhoven where he died in 1931. His son Gérard Cox Jr (1902-1982) was also a painter. Artist Listed and Quoted on Artprice, Artnet, etc...

This canvas, well stretched on its original frame, is in good condition.
The painting, never cleaned, a little dirty, is in good condition, neither repainted nor repaired of any kind.
Small visible wear which are scratches in the varnish.
