Chaise longue in two parts called Duchesse Brisée bearing the double stamp under the reinforcement bar of the Bergère by Jean Nicolas CHENEAUX (1734-1820) received Master in 1772. The production of CHENEAUX Master carpenter in LYON spans around thirty years of activity with mainly productions in the Transition and Louis XVI style. This beautiful model is in its original lacquer in gray-green lacquered walnut. High, wide and deep cabriolet bergère with a curved pediment back called a hat.
