"American Desk Signed Pichon In Lyon"
Important American desk in walnut paneled on all sides. Curtain with pivoting sides, bronze hinges. Interior with drawers, lockers and storage. On the bottom two boxes on plinths, six single drawers and one double. Pull handles with gadroons and feathers. A pull at the top of each box. Closing the curtain condemns the drawers. Bronze lock entry signed "Bureaux Pichon". Waxed desk, the lock works, ready for use. Around 1900.
