"Late 18th-century Inlaid Hexagonal Table"
Stunning hexagonal table, finely inlaid, probably of Lombard origin (Brescia), dating back to the late 18th - early 19th century. Made of walnut and maple wood, its folding top, known as "sail-shaped," is adorned with an exquisite floral inlay, masterfully executed. The decorative motifs, inspired by the Neoclassical style, feature delicate arabesques, elegant scrolls, and intertwined flowers, creating a refined contrast between the different wood tones. The table stands on three slender, curved saber-shaped legs, giving it a graceful and well-balanced appearance.
Dimensions: maximum diameter 80 cm, shortest side 67 cm, height 70 cm.
