    Reliquary description
Beautiful, richly decorated altar framed reliquary dating back from the early XIX Century. With many gilt filigree details, inspired in the neoclassical style of the time, resembling a roman pantheon.

At the center of the composition, located in an intricate monstrance of gilt paperrolles, we see a masterfully done watercolor painting of Saint Vincent Ferrer.

    Measurements
    Size: 33cm x 27cm x 5cm
    Condition
Outstanding condition for such delicate and aged artefact of this nature. Regardless, there is some old trace of dead wood worm, as expected, but it has been professionally treated (just in case) for a whole month with anti-xylophages’ chemicals, as seen in the photos. Some of the names on the papers are hard to read due to complicate hand-writing, wear and tear.
    Provenance
    Private collection, Italy.
