"Monumental Pair Of Blue Sèvres Porcelain Vases With Gilt Bronze Mounts "
Monumental pair of vases in Sèvres blue porcelain and gilt bronze mount circa mid-20th century. Covered vases in cobalt blue enameled porcelain decorated with large medallions representing gallant scenes. Handle grips decorated with stylized foliage in interlacing and a gallery decorated with pearl rosaries and ribboned bows. The lids are topped with a gilt bronze tassel. The whole rests on a chiseled and gilded bronze base. Tiny small chip and a hair (see photos) H93 X 52 X 36.
