The inside of the belt has been hollowed out with a gouge in the manner of the great master cabinetmakers of the 18th century such as Georges Jacob and Sene, in particular to lighten the shaft of the armchair. The inside of the belt is covered with its original Meudon white primer, which protected the wood from woodworms. Former presence of a protective fabric under the belt. This pair of armchairs is presented in their original house juice, the lacquer and the covering fabric needing to be redone. The armchairs have undergone normal restorations and are very stable.
