Object in perfect condition, no cracks or breaches, fat enamel and generous gilding.
On one side, a large, very neat golden motif composed of a quiver and arrows arranged in a cross and inserted in a crown of flowers and foliage.
On the other side, a smaller, equally neat golden motif of leaves and fruits that appear to be chestnut.
The rest of the body is dotted with the same leaves and fruits in reduction.
The base is surrounded by large sharp leaves, alternating in bright or matt gold. Under the base we note the presence of the golden stamp of the factory, the letters JP framing a tower underlined by the word France.
The neck is decorated with the same motif of golden chestnut leaves placed on a wide reddish brown band.
The overall shape is very elegant, reminiscent of a refined Greek amphora.
Two large and beautiful golden handles encircle the neck and rest on the body in fine volutes.
The great originality of this piece lies in its color. While the vast majority of the production of the Jaget-Pinon factory is a so-called "Tours", "Sèvres" or "oven" blue, we discover here a rare "petroleum blue" that is softer and contrasts much less with the gilding.
Elegance and softness are the terms that best characterize this large vase that will bring additional refinement to your interior.
