"Saint-etienne Manufacture Telescope, C. 1900"
Brass and leather marine telescope, early 20th century. Marine telescope with three draws and draw sun visor made of brass and leather. The telescope is signed "Manufacture française Armes et Cycles St Etienne, datable to the early 20th century. It has retained its two leather protective caps for the objective and the eyepiece. It measures 25cm folded with its caps, 71.8cm unfolded and 4.3cm in diameter. Brass cleaning, mark of use, scuffing on the leather but good working order.
