Circa 1880-1900 France or England Beautiful square shawl made of crepe called China printed with cashmere palmettes and dating from the end of the 19th century. Design with four borders of large inclined boteh and treated with angular designs called broken baton. Very fluid silk crepe in pastel colors green-yellow, red, blue, black and pink. Fringes tied in cream cords on the four sides. Note that the print is reversible. Two or three tiny rust spots that are barely visible. No holes or other defects to report. Wearable today. Good condition of color and conservation. Dimensions: 120 cm x 136 cm and 6 cm of fringes.
