""les Chaumes De Cordeville" Print After Vincent Van Gogh."
Rare color print, made on a large sheet after "Les chaumes de Cordeville" painted in 1890 and kept at the Musée d'Orsay. Our old chalcography made in the Louvre workshops bears the dry stamp visible at the bottom of the print. This peaceful landscape of Antwerp on the Oise made a month before his death becomes under Vincent's brush fury and whirlwind or the roof of the cottage undulates and or the spiral sky tortures the trees. Some foxing and trace of humility at the bottom right.
