Superb set of Chinese armchairs in solid wood, finely carved and decorated with mother-of-pearl inlays representing delicate floral motifs. The openwork backrest has a central inlaid medallion and is topped with a carved element in the shape of a bat, a symbol of happiness and prosperity in traditional Chinese art. The armrests and the base are harmoniously worked with scroll details and geometric patterns typical of Asian craftsmanship.
