Superb pair of Chinese benches in solid wood, finely carved and decorated with mother-of-pearl inlays representing refined floral motifs.

The openwork back is decorated with a central inlaid medallion, accompanied by details carved in scrolls and traditional geometric motifs. The armrests and the base are elegantly worked, reflecting the excellence of Chinese craftsmanship of the late 19th - early 20th century. One of the benches is sold with matching cushions, while the other is without cushions.
