"Group Of Six Neoclassical Chairs Piedmont Last Quarter XVIII Century"
Group of six chairs from the last decades of the 18th century. Made by Piedmontese craftsmen in carved walnut. The seat is supported by four truncated conical legs, turned and fluted, band carved with a ribbon of leaves and berries, round backrest resting on the band thanks to two curled volutes with a rosette carved on the front and a cascade of bellflowers on the side; the backrest is moulded with a carving in the centre of repeated leaves. The entire surface is lacquered with an alternation of ivory white and light green, numerous parts are resumed. Removable seats and backrests, covered with non-contemporary leather
