Crucifix on foot with a solid silver Christ, head tilted downwards, mouth half open, long hair falling over the right shoulder, perizonium with the side on the right side, feet stacked. Faceted nails in the hands and feet. The Christ and the central plaque are fixed to the back of the cross by silver screws and nuts. The blackened wooden cross is decorated at the ends with cut and openwork motifs in repoussé solid silver. In the center of the upper part is fixed a square plaque also in repoussé solid silver, cut. It is decorated with openwork scroll motifs and bears the inscription INRI. The blackened wooden base of pintagonal shape is in the upper part in ogee and counter ogee veneered with red tortoiseshell and separated by a wavy ebony rod. The lower part has reserves decorated with red tortoiseshell in ebony frames and bone fillets. It rests on four ball feet. An 18th century silver hallmark on the side of the Christ, not legible. The openwork plates bear two silver hallmarks: O surmounted by a cross in a diamond and another of small size in a circle with an unidentified motif.
