"Attié Statue, Ivory Coast"
Statue depicting a standing female figure. The work is fine and the shape is classic with the arms along the body and the hands placed on the stomach around a prominent navel. The neck is very long and ringed. On the sides, it bears scarifications. The cheekbones are prominent and bear slight incised crosses. The headdress is very elaborate and is composed of 8 pointed buns surrounding a larger central bun.
