Louis Suire (1899-1987) is a French artist from Cognac in Charente. Painter of landscapes and seascapes, his favorite subjects are the West Atlantic and particularly the island of Ré. He was a friend of Signac, Marquet ... He exhibited at the salons of the National Society of Fine Arts and the Independents of Paris. We also owe him many illustrations. His works are kept in several museums.
