Bronze sculpture with brown patina on a silver background representing a young woman draped in the Antique Spartan style, she is leaning on a column holding a harp in a turtle shell in her left hand. This sculpture represented Sappho or Sappho, a famous poetess of Ancient Greece. It is presented on a gilded bronze base and against a base in sea green marble molded and curved on the front with a brass border. This bronze bears the signature J.
