Belle Epoque 1910 Gold And Moonstone Drapery Necklace

This delicate necklace, probably for a young girl, is made up of a fine gold chain with alternating long and short links with a frontal motif composed of a line of 7 oval cabochons holding 7 other larger oval cabochons in tassels, festooned with fine gold chains in drapery.
Without clasp, the chain is finished with two larger round rings.
The moonstones are of very good quality, with a bluish adularescence, in "bezel" settings.
A later 18 carat gold chain gives this young girl's necklace a circumference suitable for a modern choker.
The necklace, unmarked, is tested 14 carats with the touchstone. The additional chain is in 18 carat gold hallmarked eagle's head.

Good condition, period 1910, probably English origin.
