Magnificent and very rare orchestra of 19 monkeys in Meissen porcelain , a German work around 1900.The set includes 1 conductor and 19 statuettes of musician monkeys on terraces highlighted with rocaille ornaments in relief enhanced with polychrome gold decoration marked: crossed swords in blue.
Model after Johann Joachim Kaendler.
Height of the statuettes: 13.5 cm, height of the conductor: 17.5 cm.
The set is in good condition ( minor damage )
