Group in gilded bronze on griotte marble
Attributed to the Raingo Frères
Napoleon III period
Paris, circa 1860
-----
H ~18
Ø base ~17
-----
Very beautiful composition, without signature.
Two elements, the basket and the wineskin, are marked with a capital -R, which allows us to propose an attribution to the Raingo Frères company.
The group is inspired by the creations of Clodion and their reinterpretations by Carrier-Belleuse.
-----
Excellent general condition.
The marble is intact.
Very beautiful quality of gilding (normal wear, more marked on the right hip of the cupid with the horn)
