Polychrome plaster bust representing a Florentine lady from the 15th century. The figure is presented frontally, with a pure and serene gaze. She wears typical 15th-century clothing, featuring a dress decorated with gold details and a precious pendant around her neck. On her forehead she wears a diadem that holds her bonnet in place, which, embellished with the famous Florentine lilies, braids and covers her blond hair gathered in a bun. The sculpture is in good condition, with slight damage, and stands out for its extreme elegance and fine workmanship. This bust is taken from the school of Desiderio da Settignano (a famous sculptor active around the middle of the 15th century), and is ascribed to Florentine manufacture from the second half of the 19th century.
