Stéphane de Trenqualye. Oil on plywood panel "Bouquet of flowers" signed and dated lower left Trenqualye 1924. French school. 66.8 X 56 cm. The state, on behalf of the National Center for Plastic Arts, purchased from the artist in 1922 a "Study in the forest of Meudon" (on deposit since 1923 at the National Chamber of Lawyers) as well as "Landscape in the countryside of Aix" in 1943 (on deposit since 1947 at the Presidency of the Republic). Wooden frame and gilded stucco (smeared with paint) to be stripped. Some losses and accidents. Cracks at the bottom right of the vase due to a knot in the panel. Good general condition. Would deserve cleaning.
