""crossbow Hitching" Illustrated By Ph-ledoux - 1972 By The House -"h" - In Paris"
The sound of hooves and neighing announces the exit of a team from the stable. Two helmsmen horses and three lead horses rush forward in their carefully polished coats and shiny harnesses. Two leather buckles and collars complete the rest of this illustration. The coachman with white gloves guides his horses with precision. This beautiful square illustrated by Philippe Ledoux in 1972 and reissued in 1993 in silk twill with hand-rolled edges and chocolate borders, is available on a light beige background in warm tones of brown, beige, taupe, dark yellow.... Our copy dates from 1972, and is therefore 52 years old. Which explains its fluid and light hold. The silk is still beautiful and the colors well saturated. The title of this square, the name of the House of Hermès, the copyright, and the name of the illustrator are found at the bottom.
