Object description :

"Warning Cannon - Fire Trap - Scarer - Hunting"
Old central percussion warning cannon - Collector's weapon This old central percussion warning cannon was once used as a deterrent against pests and animal intrusions. Generally fixed to the ground or on a wall, it worked thanks to a wire connected to its trigger mechanism. When an animal or an intruder hit this wire, a 16 caliber powder cartridge was struck, triggering a loud detonation intended to scare and drive away the unwanted animal. Devoid of any security system, this device remains potentially dangerous. The barrel should be cleaned. ⚠️ Sale as a collector's weapon: This cannon is sold exclusively as a collector's item and not for functional use. Weapon classified in category D2 - free possession under conditions. The buyer must present an identity document attesting to their majority (minimum 18 years old). No liability will be incurred in the event of use by the purchaser or a third party. Dimensions: Length: 20 cm Width: 7 cm Height: 6 cm
