Imposing and luxurious Spanish officer's pistol from the 18th century. Front lock with flat-body flintlock with a punch in a cartouche. 20 mm round barrel at the muzzle, bronzed, chiseled and gilded with decoration of a soldier, trophies of arms and drums. Very finely sculpted stock with studded brass crosspieces, decoration of rockery, foliage and brass threads. Cap decorated with the head of a mustachioed man with glass or sulphide eyes. Metal rod with nail head. Trigger under trigger guard with long brass tail. Functional mechanism with slight malfunction at times.
