Expressionist School : “the Little Maid”

Expressionist school circa 1930/50 : "The little maid", oil on thick cardboard 60 X 48 cm, a study on the back. Some wear, especially around the edges. Unfortunately not signed, the boldness with which this painting is painted demonstrates a Master: this little maid standing in front of the round table covered with a tablecloth waits very patiently to serve breakfast, with her apron and her pass in her hair, is treated in a crushed paste with strong, almost fauve-like contrasts of shades.
