"16th Century Credenza"
Beautiful sideboard probably from Lyon, from the 16th century, in walnut richly carved with motifs in the style of Jacques Androuet du Cerceau. The upper part has two doors with small hanging handles, centrally locked by a single lock with its original key, framed by uprights formed of pilasters with Corinthian capitals. Below, base surmounted by a drawer with its original bottoms, formed of two columns with square sections echoing the pilasters of the upper part. Some elements of the base were restored in the 19th century, as with many Renaissance furniture, old parts have marks of time, but the whole remains in good original condition.
