"Venetian Glass "
Large glass from Venice, in blue and white spun glass, sprinkled with gold powder. The master glassmakers of Murano continue to keep alive a craft tradition that had its moment of glory in the 16th century, spied on and copied at will by foreign powers, but rarely equaled in lightness and virtuosity. The stemmed glass presented was made in the middle of the 20th century, for lovers of these little masterpieces. Perfect condition.
