Portrait of a sumptuously dressed nobleman from the Louis XIV period. The portrait is of great quality. We notice the folds of the jerkin, suggested by only a few brush strokes, the gold thread embroidery of the doublet and the woven lace tie. Very realistic, the representation of the face is also of great finesse. Oil on canvas mounted on wood, small old restorations. Carved wooden frame in good condition from the Louis XIV - Régence period. Its dimensions: 62cm. x 72 cm. (frame included) and 46 cm. x 55 cm.
