Rare large copper salt cellar, from the early 19th century (see earlier) wrought iron handles, beautiful well-rounded belly of the salt cellar, with its original lid marked USINE. The salt cellar was originally used to preserve meat in salt. Very beautiful decorative object in an old-fashioned kitchen, which can have many uses. Very good condition.
