Large cross, (47cm x 25cm!) built from olive wood, hollowed out with 14 round reliquaries under glass, decorated in applique with 5 high reliefs, four Apostles, and Virgin of Sorrow.
Work from Jerusalem workshops for Western pilgrims, ink marked on back. Look carefully our photos....
Good condition, no lack of wood. Slightly rustic work, late 19th century or 1900. 47cm x 25cm x 2cm, weight: 350g.
